Playa Dorada
— Playa Blanca's Sheltered Southern Shore

Playa Dorada lies along the seafront of Playa Blanca, at the southern tip of Lanzarote where the island tapers toward the Bocaina strait. This corner of the coast sits in the lee of Lanzarote’s volcanic mass, which blocks much of the force of the trade winds that sweep the island’s north and west. The result is a calmer, more settled climate and water conditions that remain gentle for much of the year.
