Los Llanos

Los Llanos sits inland on the western side of La Palma, at the heart of the fertile Aridane Valley. Ringed by steep volcanic slopes and banana terraces, it serves as one of the island’s main inland hubs, with a more workaday, lived-in character than the coastal resorts nearby.

The surrounding valley is shaped by agriculture, and the town reflects that rural inland setting rather than a tourist-oriented one. As a base, it offers a quieter, more authentic sense of daily life on La Palma, within easy reach of the island’s western coastline and hills.
