Vallehermoso

Vallehermoso lies on the north coast of La Gomera, a district shaped by steep valleys and volcanic cliffs that fall towards the Atlantic. The village of Vallehermoso itself sits inland from the shore, surrounded by terraced slopes and the rugged terrain typical of this part of the island, and serves as a quiet focal point for the wider area.

Just offshore, the Monumento Natural de Los Órganos protects one of the island’s most striking geological features, a formation of tall basalt columns rising from the sea like a natural colonnade.
