Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Santa Cruz is the capital of Tenerife and sits on the island’s east coast, facing the Atlantic across a natural harbour that has long made it one of the busiest ports in the Canary Islands. Along with Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, it shares the status of joint capital of the archipelago, and it remains the seat of the island’s administration and much of its commercial life.
